Letters from France: Jean François Porchez

Have you ever wondered who is behind the most familiar logos and typefaces? Meet award-winning French type designer Jean-François Porchez!
Porchez has designed logos and typefaces for some of the most famous French cultural icons, including the French daily newspaper Le Monde, France Télécom, La Poste, Métro de Paris/RATP, Le Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens and Air France.
Porchez is honorary President of ATypI, the Association Typographique Internationale, the leading organization for type design, and regularly conducts type design workshops all over the world. This evening includes a 40-minute lecture on his work, followed by a 20-minute bilingual (French and English) question/answer session. Please join us for a speaker reception after the event.
