Your own French Médiathèque

Come and immerse yourself in the French language with our extensive collection of books, DVDs, CDs, videos and magazines. We have one of the largest French language collections in the area.

All are welcome to enjoy the French language television network TV5 Monde USA during library hours.

We are open to everyone, members and non-members alike, however borrowing privileges are for Alliance Française de Seattle members only. We also welcome donations; please call us at 206-632-5433 for further information.

Loan Guidelines:

Please sign your items out in the Médiathèque Checkout Binder!

• DVDs*: Please bring the movie jacket to the front desk in the Alliance office to receive the actual DVD. *DVDs are only available for rental during business hours.
• DVDs: Borrow up to 2 DVDs for 8 days. Renew them once for a combined total of up to 16 days. Late fee: 1 dollar per day.
• CDs: Borrow up to 2 CDs for 8 days. Renew them once for a combined total of up to 16 days. Late fee: 25 cents per day.
• Other items: Borrow up to four books for one month. Renew them twice for a combined total of up to three months. Late fee: 25 cents per day.
• Renewals: intern@afseattle.org or 206.632.5433. Please provide your first and last name.
• Returns: You may return items to the drop box in the library.
