Your previous selection: General FrenchGeneral French Classes are textbook-based courses offering a complete study of the language (oral and written expression and comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, etc). Learning pace: 1.5h x 2 weekly plus homework; the Saturday classes are 2.5h weekly. General French courses take place over 10 weeks. There are a few hybrid classes offering 20 hours of synchronous classes ("live" on Zoom) and 10 hours of asynchronous learning (self-study on the e-learning platform). Each level comprises three classes (e.g. A1.1, A1.2, A1.3, etc.).

A1 BeginnerStudents will learn to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases, how to introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, people they know, and things they have.
Students will learn to understand sentences and expressions related to personal and family information, local geography, and employment. They will learn to communicate routine tasks and to describe aspects of their background, environment, and basic needs.
Students will learn to understand the main points of family matters, and to produce simple texts on familiar topics. Students will be able to deal with most situations while traveling, and to describe experiences, dreams, and hopes. They will also learn to give brief opinions and explanations.
B2 Upper Intermediate
Students will learn to understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialization. They will develop the capacity to interact with fluency and spontaneity and to produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects while sharing viewpoints.
