Note: PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS COURSE WILL START ONLINE AND IS LIMITED TO 6 LEARNERS. If the course is full, please let us know your interest, and we will try to open an additional class.

This class is designed for teenagers between 12 and 16 years old who have completed the intermediate level A2 and are a basic user of French: they can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring the most common polite phrases and exchanges of information.
• Prerequisite: Winter2020-Les Orques.
• IMPORTANT: This is the third class out of a series of three to cover the whole B1.1 level. No enrollments are allowed at this point. New students can be enrolled in the Fall Quarter 2020. You can send us an email at school@afseattle.org if you have questions.

A valid registration fee is required in order to enroll in this course (members are exempt).
Objectives

Objectives of level B1:
- understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where the language is spoken.
- produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.
- describe experiences, events, dreams, hopes, and ambitions.
- briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans
