Students will learn to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. They will learn how to introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, people they know, and things they have. They will learn to interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

A1.2 is the second course of the level A1 (Beginner), which comprises courses A1.1, A1.2, and A1.3, 30 hours of instruction each.
• Prerequisite: A1.1 course or A1.2 result at placement test https://www.afseattle.org/placement-tests/
• Textbook (not included in tuition): “Entre nous 1” that covers the whole A1 level.
• Content of the A1.2 course: chapters 4 to 6.

• No class on May 25. The Good Shepherd Center will be closed for the Memorial Day weekend.
A valid registration fee is required in order to enroll in this course (members are exempt).
