Students will learn to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. They will learn how to introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, people they know, and things they have. They will learn to interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

A condensed 4-week course for real beginners comprising 2 hours of synchronous learning twice a week and a series of modules to be completed individually.
• Prerequisite: None. This class is for complete beginners.
