B2.1 is the first course of the general French B2 (Upper Intermediate) series, which comprises courses B2.1, B2.2, and B2.3. During these three B2 classes, students become more spontaneous in their capacities to converse and communicate and should be comfortable actively participating in a conversation with native speakers by the end of the series. Many concepts previously learned, such as past tenses and relative pronouns, are reviewed and expanded upon in order to facilitate better comprehension and expression of a variety of topics including current events, culture, and students’ personal views and opinions. Throughout the B2 courses, students learn how to adjust their language register and intonation in function of their audience, who understand them without difficulty.
