Conducted in an interactive and fun manner, this series of workshops will focus on helping you master the common difficulties of French grammar.
• Description: The difference between passé composé (j’ai mangé) and imparfait (je mangeais) can be challenging for anglophone learners as there is not an exact equivalence in English. In this workshop you will review these concepts with various practical and illustrated examples, which will make you feel more comfortable to talk about your past! You will also deepen your travel to the past reviewing the plus-que-parfait tense and, along the way, the agreement of the participe passé.
In addition to these main topics, this workshop will also offer fun and short lessons on the most common grammar mistakes at the B1 and B2 level.
• Prerequisite: B1.3 course, B1 Review, or B2.1 result at placement test. New students are invited to take a short online placement test https://www.afseattle.org/placement-tests/
