For the second summer in a row, the Alliance Française de Seattle will be organizing virtual summer camps in 2021. These week-long camps
will offer an immersive and creative approach to learning French. In 2021, we invite you to continue the virtual voyage throughout
the French-speaking world.
Let's use our imagination, our creative minds and our best French instructors to explore the globe together this summer!
What can I expect from a virtual French camp?
A mix of French lessons, exercises, and interactive games, managed via the videoconferencing app Zoom, the e-learning platform Apolearn, and daily hands-on projects to do at home. Our camps' weekly themes trigger students' curiosity, activate their need to speak, use their creativity, express their emotions, and inspire them to defend their ideas all while learning French!
Our camp instructors are French teachers with an extensive experience in teaching youth, and who have been constantly innovating our youth programs to adapt to a new online format. We have received excellent feedback on their accomplishments, and our virtual camps were completely sold out in Summer 2020.
For best learning practices, all our virtual summer camps will be limited to 7-8 campers.
