Dear Community Member,
The Alliance Française de Seattle is closely monitoring the Omicron situation in King County. The infection and hospitalization rates
are still high, but we anticipate that they will slow down by early March.
AFSeattle has decided to open registration for the DELF B1 & B2 Tout Public, as well the DALF C1 & C2 sessions in March 2022. They are reserved for candidates residing in the states of Washington and Oregon only, and with restrictions:
limited places, mandatory mask wearing, health screening, and visual inspection of the vaccination card.
The fixed schedule for the common parts (Oral Comprehension, Written Comprehension, and Written Expression) is available on our website
(under Diplomas) and cannot be modified. As per the DELF/DALF rules, the individual interviews (Oral
Expression) can be organized any time between March 14 and 25. Registered candidates will receive their personal interview schedule
(date/time) by email no later than March 4.
Registration opens on Monday, February 14, at noon Pacific Time, and closes on Friday, March 4, at noon Pacific Time.
Please read carefully the DELF/DALF
Policies under COVID-19
before registration.
Please be advised that if the socio-sanitary situation deteriorates in King County by the DELF/DALF dates, the Alliance Française de
Seattle reserves the right to cancel the session, in which case registered candidates will be fully refunded.
The March 2022 sessions of the DELF B1 & B2 Junior are cancelled, with the next session, in June 2022, to be confirmed.
Alternatively, should you need an official evaluation of your level for immigration to Canada or Québec, French citizenship, or admission to
a Francophone university, TEF tests are organized with one (1) candidate at a time. Proof of vaccination is not required from TEF
candidates; they are, however, asked to respond to the health screening questionnaire. Check our TEF page for policies and conditions here.
Best regards,
The AFSeattle Office
