AFSeattle offers French classes at all levels for teen learners (ages 13 to 17), starting at the very beginner level! Our classes either take place online or on-site at our Wallingford location, in the heart of Seattle.

Food in Literature

Through selected excerpts (in modern French) from Gargantua and Pantagruel, we will discuss how food, language, and laughter intertwine in Rabelais’s vision of humanism. We will engage in guided reading and conversation, discovering how Rabelais’s vibrant spirit continues to nourish both mind and appetite.

Through a blend of structured instruction and hands-on practice, including analysis of songs like Jean-Jacques Goldman's "Si je t'aime", Angèle's "Oui ou Non" and Stromae's "Tous les Mêmes", you'll develop confidence in using this tense in both written and spoken French.
