Les Fables de la Fontaine

Expand your cultural knowledge by reading Les Fables de la Fontaine. Students will read an abbreviated version of the text and will analyze the themes and writing structure. This course enhances language acquisition through reading, listening, conversational fluency and pronunciation skills.

Welcome to our very first French course for complete beginners! Start your French journey with the basics: the alphabet, numbers, greetings and basic vocabulary.

Beginner French for ages 9-12

Les Tortues is our beginner French program for 9-12 year olds. Offered online or in-person, they meet once a week for 10 weeks. Complete beginners start with Les Tortues 1, part 1!

Enhance your speaking skills: B1

This class will strengthen all aspects of oral communication at the B1 level. B1 learners are expected to be gaining some confidence in communicating in a simple manner on familiar topics regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. and cope flexibly with problems of everyday life;

Through interactive play, songs, and engaging activities, your little one will be introduced to the enchanting world of French.

Get started with French in our Teens 101 course! For three quarters, our group of 13-17 year olds will learn to construct simple phrases in French, to introduce themselves and others, to describe their environment, and to express their feelings and preferences.

Notre-Dame de Paris Part 3: The Redesign of the Surroundings

Landscape Architect Bas Smets will describe how his team plans to redesign the square in front of Notre-Dame Cathedral and the underground parking spaces beneath it, the Jean XXIII square located behind the cathedral, the Seine riverbanks, and the adjacent streets, in order to create a microclimate to mitigate the effects of climate change.
