The Task-Based Approach: Toward Communicative and Engaging Teaching

Join us for a professional development workshop led by Hedwige Meyer, Senior Lecturer in the Department of French and Italian Studies at the University of Washington.

Hedwige has also taught at Alliance Française de Seattle and will guide participants through the principles and practical applications of the task-based approach (l'approche actionnelle) in French language teaching.This interactive workshop will explore how to design communicative, task-based lessons that engage students as active agents in the learning process. Participants will leave with concrete strategies and activities to implement in their classrooms.

This event is organized by the Alliance Française de Seattle and co-presented by the Federation of Alliances Francaises USA.

This workshop will be conducted in French.
