Global Seal Of Biliteracy

The Alliance Française de Seattle credentials with the Global Seal of Biliteracy since 2022.

The Global Seal of Biliteracy is an international credential that validates proficiency in two or more languages. Through Alliance Française de Seattle, eligible candidates (whether in public, charter, private, or home schools; as well as those in college, the workforce, or elsewhere) can apply for the Seal.

The Global Seal of Biliteracy enables programs across the world to quickly validate a student’s language skills to provide recognition, appropriate and/or advanced placement in a language program, and even help earn scholarships and job opportunities.

This credential allows employers to easily verify our students’ language proficiency and be confident that they possess the valuable soft skills associated with language learning. We believe language credentials result in pay differentials and increased employment opportunities for bilinguals. The Global Seal of Biliteracy is serial-numbered and can be added to a resume or LinkedIn profile under "Licenses & Certifications."
