The program includes Swiss realism with Ramuz (Derborence), Vietnamese poetic cinema with Trân Anh Hùng (L’odeur de la papaye verte), and works from francophone Africa and the Americas, such as Senghor’s Senegal (La ballade de Dioudi), Roumain’s Haiti (Gouverneurs de la rosée), and Hébert’s Canada (Les fous des Bassan).
Combining drama, poetry, prose, and film-inspired narrative, the course highlights how French literature expresses identity, memory, and cultural diversity across continents. It is an engaging introduction to global francophone expression for language learners.

- Awareness of francophone cultural diversity
Instructor will provide all materials on the Student Portal.
