This course is designed for 13-17 year olds who wish to start learning French. Throughout the academic year (Part 1 in Fall, Part 2 in Winter and Part 3 in Spring), students will acquire basic skills in French on topics related to their everyday life and environment. Through materials provided by the publisher Maison des Langues and other multimedia resources, they will learn to talk about themselves, their families, and events in the present.

Prerequisite: none for Part 1. If you wish to start at Part 2 or 3, you will need an A1 result at our placement test, followed by an oral assessment with our Admissions Coordinator.

Throughout the academic year (Part 1 in Fall, Part 2 in Winter, and Part 3 in Spring), students will develop the skills and knowledge to have a basic conversation in French through topics related to their everyday life and environment. Through materials provided by the publisher Maison des Langues and other multimedia resources, they will learn to talk about events in the past with more precision and to formulate opinions. All activities are conducted mainly in French with an immersive approach. 

Prerequisite: To start this course at Part 1, you will need to have completed the course Teens A1. If you wish to start at Part 2 or 3, you will need an A2 result on our placement test, followed by an oral assessment with our Admissions Coordinator.
