Join the Alliance Française de Seattle on Saturday, October 14th, 2023 at the iconic Rainier Club as we celebrate 140 years of the global network of Alliances Françaises and the brilliant minds that came together in the 19^th century to create the 1^st and largest non-profit in the world! 

Our event pays homage to visionary artist and writer Jules Verne, one of the founding fathers of the Alliance Française. His most famous titles of the series Voyages Extraordinaires will inspire the key moments of our glittering fundraising gala, from the silent and live auctions, to the table décor and accessories. 

Get ready to be transported to a world of adventure, innovation, and Victorian marvels! Come enjoy great entertainment, delicious food and a lively auction to support our 2024 educational and cultural programs. More than anything, you will be part of a global movement celebrating intercultural exchanges, language education and multilingualism! 

We are delighted to announce the attendance of special guests Paul Salvaire, Deputy Consul General of France, and Ariane Ogier, Honorary Consul of France in Seattle.

We will launch the festivities with drinks and small bites, and invite you to bid on some on-site exclusive Silent Auction items. Take part in our Wine Pull for a chance to take home a delicious bottle of wine, and purchase a Golden Ticket for a unique opportunity to win your favorite Live Auction item!

Enjoy a 3-course dinner accompanied by French wines before raising your paddle to support AFSeattle! Our exciting Live Auction will be led by auctioneer extraordinaire Kevin Joyce, followed by a Raise the Paddle focused on our most important programs of 2024.

Each $50 raffle ticket enters you into a drawing to win the Golden Ticket! Only 50 tickets will be available for purchase.
The winner will be announced at the start of the Live Auction: this ticket allows the winner to take home their one (1) favorite live auction package.

Auctioneer: Kevin Joyce

Kevin is Producing Director of EnJoy Productions and oversees EnJoy’s unique approach to auctions, meetings and communication training. He is an actor, musician, auctioneer, facilitator and trainer, as well as a student of religion, comedy and neuroscience. Known for his humor, improvisation, original music and characters, Kevin brings EnJoy’s unique event hosting approach to life in collaboration with partner Martha Enson. Kevin has hosted hundreds of events for corporations and associations, and auctioneered for over 500 regional and national non-profits, in the process becoming one of the most popular and sought-after fundraising hosts in the Pacific Northwest.
