General French

An interactive method-based approach, following a textbook and covering the four main skills: oral comprehension, oral expression, reading comprehension, written expression. Each lesson introduces vocabulary and grammar concepts.

Three classes complete a level: A1.1, A1.2 & A1.3

Three classes complete a level: A2.1, A2.2 & A2.3

Three classes complete a level: B1.1, B1.2 & B1.3

Four classes complete a level: B2.1, B2.2, B2.3 & B2.4

Four classes complete a level: C1.1, C1.2, C1.3 & C1.4 (can be taken in any order)

French Essentials

Specialized classes have a special linguistic or cultural focus. The content is different for every session (Fall 1, Fall 2, Fall 3), so students can enroll in multiple sessions.

Open to Teens! (Requires a Level 202 placement in the Teens assessment)

For students at the end of the A1 level who wish to put into practice, through speaking and oral comprehension, relevant grammar and vocabulary.
