Petits Crabes is the next step for young learners who are ready for a more structured French class while still learning through play, songs, stories, games, and hands-on activities.

Classes introduce and reinforce age-appropriate vocabulary, listening, speaking, pronunciation, and simple language structures through engaging themes and repetition. Children gradually build confidence using French in familiar classroom situations while developing the habits and skills needed for continued language learning.

Petits Crabes provides a natural bridge between AFSeattle’s preschool enrichment programs and our elementary-age French classes.

Best for: Children ages 4–6 who are ready for a more structured introduction to French language learning.
