Students will learn to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. They will learn how to introduce themselves and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, people they know, and things they have. They will learn to interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

Note: An intensive 2-week, 2.5-hour daily from Monday to Thursday class ideal for real beginners. "Pas à pas" is a unique pre-method that eases English speakers into French. It is designed to encourage further study in French by making the initial contact with the language a very positive experience.
• Prerequisite: None. This class is for complete beginners.
