General French Kids Non-Readers (4-6)
The first year of the A1 beginner program for 4-6 year old non-readers, Les Petits Crabes.
For four quarters, along with various action-oriented activities—games, stories, songs, crafts—students will learn vocabulary and basic sentences to identify and present people and objects, and to express feelings. All activities are conducted mainly in French with an immersive approach.
No textbook required.
Prerequisite: none for Part 1. If you wish to start at Part 2, 3 or 4, you will need to take our non-reader placement test, followed by an oral assessment with our Admissions Coordinator.
Next course: After completing Part 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Les Petits Crabes 1, you can enroll in Les Petits Crabes 2 in the following academic year.
Pace: 10 weeks, once a week, total of 7.5h

New themes such as food and clothing will be introduced to reach new communication goals. All activities are conducted mainly in French with an immersive approach.
No required textbook.
Prerequisite: To start this course at Part 1, you will need to have completed the course Les Petits Crabes 1. If you wish to start at Part 2,3 or 4, you will need to take our non-reader placement test, followed by an oral assessment with our Admissions Coordinator.
