Les Classes d'Art du Festival d'Avignon [online]

The Alliance Française de Seattle invites you to join the art masterclass program Les Classes d’Art du Festival d’Avignon, organized by the Festival d’Avignon and its subsidiary Festival Experiences, in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States.

Unique in its genre, it will include several major artists presented at the Festival d’Avignon in recent years who will discuss their creative approach.

Registration is free and will give you access to the entire fall series until December 31, 2020.

Each Classe d’Art is a 90-minute direct encounter with an artist from the Festival d’Avignon and is divided in several chapters (all with English surtitles), completed by up to 30 hours of the artists’ archives (in the original version without English subtitles.)

In addition to the Classes d’Art and specifically for the United States, Live Talks moderated by an American expert will be held via Zoom. An invitation and zoom link will be sent to people registered to the Classe d’Art. Questions will be collected prior to the talks.
